Students learn math from a spiral approach, which emphasizes incremental development of new material and continuous review of previously taught concepts, reinforcing previously gained knowledge throughout the year.
Students will cover 4-5 new concepts each week in class, and complete practice sets throughout the week.
Textbooks will be provided on LOAN. Students may not write in textbooks and must return book at the end of the school year.
Homework Level: Rigorous. Students will have daily practice assignments to complete throughout the week, but parents retain the flexibility to adjust the workload appropriately.
Recommended for: Grade 7, students who have successfully completed Saxon 7/6, or students who have tested into this level using the Saxon placement test.
