Make math an exciting adventure! In this hands-on, game-filled class, students will tackle challenges and play interactive games to reinforce key math concepts. From mock supermarket adventures for money skills to card games enhancing fact fluency, every session is a journey of discovery.
The weekly themed approach covers essential skills such as addition, subtraction, time, money, measurements, and graphs. Your child will develop a solid foundation in math while having a blast in a supportive and interactive learning environment. Join us for an unforgettable exploration of math skills and games!
Skills covered in this class will include addition, subtraction, fact fluency, multiplication, division, time, money, measurements, and graphs. For success in this class students must be able to independently write all numbers, understand place value in 2 digit numbers, add and subtract within 20, and be ready for introductory multiplication and division. For advanced 2nd graders and 3rd graders only. Students who are not ready for multiplication and division concepts or higher place value numbers should enroll in Math Skills and Games for Grades 1-2.
NOTE: This is a supplemental class, not intended to replace home math curriculum.
