STUDENTS MAY RE-ENROLL IN THIS CLASS FOR UP TO 2 YEARS TO CONTINUE DEVELOPING SKILLS WITHOUT REPEATING PROJECTS.
Learn basic art theory and embark on a creative journey! This hands-on class is designed to give students experience with art in a variety of mediums, including tempera and acrylic paint, watercolor paint, soft chalk pastels, markers, oil pastels, crayons, clay, and more. Participants will learn basic art theory and practical artistic concepts while making lots of art. From drawing and painting to collage and sculpture, students will engage in diverse art forms, fostering a well-rounded artistic skill set. Throughout the course, they will explore advanced color theory, including the color wheel, primary, secondary, and tertiary colors, and be introduced to basic one-point perspective drawing.
