STUDENTS MAY RE-ENROLL IN THIS CLASS FOR UP TO 2 YEARS TO CONTINUE DEVELOPING SKILLS WITHOUT REPEATING PROJECTS.
This class emphasizes observation and provides students with techniques necessary to draw what they see in a deliberate and skillful ways. Concepts such as realistic proportions, seeing shapes within objects, shading and highlighting using different pencil values, and how to see different perspectives and translate observations into art. Students will take on drawing still life arrangements, human form and proportions, landscapes and nature, animals and vehicles, and optical illusions throughout the course of the school year.

Homework: Moderate. Students will recive a drawing assignment each week.
