Tailored for middle school students, this class provides an engaging exploration of literary works and the art of effective writing. Dive into thought-provoking novels, short stories, and poems, while honing your writing skills through various genres. From analytical essays to creative storytelling, students will enhance their understanding of literature and develop a strong foundation in writing.
Textbook: None. Parents are responsible for aquiring assigned literature in the format of their choosing. (Print, digital, or audiobook format are all acceptable! Choose the format that best fits your student's needs).
Homework: Moderate. Students will be expected to complete weekly reading assignements and / or writing assignments. Homework may also include the completion of hands-on projects related to assigned literture.
